Section 1. Salary.
(a) The annual salary minimum for new Postdocs upon hire on or after July 1, 2024 will be $60,000.
(b) 'The annual salary minimum for new Postdocs upon hire on or after July 1, 2025 will be $60.750.
(c) The annual salary minimum for new Postdocs upon hire on or after July 1, 2026 will be $61.500.
(d) The annual salary shall be prorated for Postdocs appointed for less than 100% FTE.
(e) The decision to appoint a Postdoc above the salary minimum as specified in Section 1, and the decision to provide an annual increase above the amount specified in Section 2, is at the sole discretion of the University and shall not be subject to grievance or arbitration pursuant to Article 28. The University encourages all PIs to consider the skills and experience of the Postdoc when determining salary
Section 2. Salary Increases.
(a) Effective with the annual anniversary of their initial hire date as a Postdoc on or after July 1, 2024, Postdocs shall receive an increase to their annual salary of 3%, or to $60,000, whichever is greater.
(b) Effective with the annual anniversary of their initial hire date as a Postdoc on or after July 1, 2025, Postdocs shall receive an increase to their annual salary of 3%.
(c) Effective with the annual anniversary of their initial hire date as a Postdoc on or after July 1, 2026, Postdocs shall receive an increase to their annual salary of 3%.
